Bunkhouse

Our bunkhouse was once the farm’s dairy barn and has been converted to provide basic, but very comfortable accommodation for 37 people. In converting the barn we have exposed the wooden beams and brick walls giving it lots of rustic charm. It is all self-contained and is located right at the heart of our centre. When you stay with us you have the whole barn to yourselves and have access to a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and games room.

There are 8 separate rooms all containing bunk beds that sleep either two or three people.

Room 1 has four bunk beds and sleeps 12 people.

Room 2 has three bunk beds and sleeps 9 people.

Rooms 3 & 4 are Leader's Rooms and have 1 bunk per room. Each room sleeps 2 people.

Rooms 5, 6, 7 and 8 have one bunk per room. Each room sleeps 3 people.

Clean bedding is provided - including sheets, duvets and pillows.

Our bunkhouse has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen contains a quality Range double oven, two sinks, two microwaves and a large fridge freezer. All crockery and cutlery is provided.

The dining room has four large dining room tables with chairs. Attached to the kitchen-diner is a games room which houses a quality pool table, table tennis table and table football. For those wanting to relax in the evenings there is a digital TV with DVD player and comfy sofas.

Our bunkhouse is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day of outdoor pursuits. You have the choice of catering fully for yourselves, making use of the village supermarket and amenities, which are only a short drive away. Or if you prefer, just let us know and our chef at our on-site cafe will prepare a barbecue or buffet for you and your group. There is also an extensive public footpath network running from the site for strolls in the evenings and a large field, perfect for a game of football or wide games. Our site also has two well equipped toilet blocks with showers and disabled facilities.
