Description

The Cliffs Farm Site is situated to the south of Preston near the quiet village of Mawdesley, easily accessible from the M6 and M58 motorways.

The Cliffs Farm Activity Centre is our main activity site, it is held within the grounds of a 180 acre working farm. The main building is a converted barn which is over 100 years old and houses group rooms and classrooms, a bunkhouse and our indoor climbing wall. Cliffs Farm is also the main base for all of our educational and vocational courses and our staff training facility

The Bunkhouse

The bunkhouse is situated within the converted barn at the very heart of this picturesque, working farm. It consists of two group rooms, containing 5 and 4 bunk beds respectively, sleeping 18 people and six smaller rooms each containing 1 bunk bed sleeping an additional 12 people. Campsite

Camping is available at Cliffs Farm Activity Centre, just ask for more information. Should you require it, equipment can be hired at a small cost from Rock and River.

Catering

At Cliffs Farm Cafe our onsite chef is happy to cater to the needs of your group, whether you are staying overnight or want a hearty lunch to replenish your energy levels. Catering should be booked in advance, just ask when organising your activity day. At busy times, the cafe is also open during the day so you can pop in for a snack or drink.more...
