Ashworth Valley
Description
The Ashworth Valley site is based to the North of Greater Manchester, just outside the small town of Heywood. Due to its location it is easily reached from across the North West via the M60 ring road.
Ashworth Valley is within the grounds of a 50 acre moorland campsite, up in the hills above Heywood on the southern edge of the Pennines. It offers dramatic hill top views across Manchester to the south, and the valley itself is teeming with wildlife.
Activity Options
This site benefits from an excellent Climbing and Abseiling Tower and both Archery and Rifle Shooting ranges. It is also equipped with a Low Ropes Course which is ideal for youngsters and Team Building Programs. If that isn’t enough to wet your appetite you could test your navigation skills on our Orienteering Course, or try testing your brain on our Initiative Exercises. All of the activities are available as single sessions or grouped together as part of a Multi-Activity Day.
