Willow Weaving

The woodland at Cliffs Farm is a coppiced willow plantation. The willow can be used by schools for crafting or for growing. Willow is flexible so it can be used for weaving into different shapes and for creating 3D models. It is also a fast growing plant that can easily be grown in any open space. Willow can be used to make living sculptures, fences, outdoor seating spaces and play areas.

Willow can be harvested from Cliffs Farm for use in school. Training sessions in growing and using willow can be organised and advice can be given on school grounds’ projects.
